Service Description

Designed for current high school music teachers, this session will help you nurture vocal and/or instrumental students who are interested in conducting—and not just drum majors. We will discuss how the opportunities you provide can best help your emerging young conductors develop their skills while also creating a stronger résumé for them. This session will cover: • Considerations when designing a student conducting program. • How to avoid issues of favoritism when selecting students. • Leadership roles and responsibilities for student conductors. • Opportunities you can create for the entire academic year.
